I tend to agree with Sylvia Plath who said something like "nature is a gift to poets who don't have anything inward to share." But that's not fair, that's just preference.
there are some cool parts. I liked the bit about hymns.
A bit too much of it feels cliche. I think poems must, by definition, be anti-cliche-- "the sands of time" is as cliche as it gets.
