A Different Point Of View
#2
There's some kind of way to get the lines in the places you want them on this site, but I haven't exactly figured it out. I can see the way you wanted the first few lines to look.

I decide...
Kitchen bound
kettle bound
coffee cup of
complications
cups
cupboard...

Then I can distinctly remember.

I.
Myself.
Trapped in the spare room.
Self imposed imprisonment.
Self inflicted punishment.
Unable to resist the moment,
And the chance to organise the disorganised.

The tidying tangles done.
Boxes packed, racked, stacked.
A state of deluded happiness
Based on newly created order
Pervaded my mind.

Back through to the kitchen.
Obliviously content in delusion.

Half made cup of coffee..
Two notepads and a pen...
A poem about a view unwritten.

But here in it's place, a different poem.

its

Tumbling out of the turmoil,
Transcending the traumatic trivialities.

Redemption.

And after all...
I have still unwittingly managed to write a poem
About the view from my window,
As was my original intention.
