Hello serge, I've reread this several times and it seems quite cryptic! The first stanza could refer to the cat o' nine tails which would hum just before it landed on Jesus back but that would be anything but soothing unless he was a masochist ! The second stanza is self explanatory. The third stanza seems to have gone back in time to the first testament, you may have mentioned The Last Supper here which was ,I believe ,also a passover.An immaculate conception and room for a resurrection! And now for some Gefilte Fish and a glass of wine. Cheers mate, thanks for sharing, sorry I could not have been of more help. ( the commentary was priceless ) Big Grin
