Hello, my name is Amy and I'm an alcoholic. (Oh wait, wrong forum..)

It probably would have been better to say hi before I excessively post on the feedback forums...

I've put poetry on the back burner for quite a while now, in order to do well in my exams and bring some money in through busking. I found my love for it again when I started my poetry course, though I've spent enough time ripping apart and analysing poetry now and want to get back into writing again.

Other than here, you'd find me eating rainbow cake and writing a one woman musical.

Hello,

My nickname is short for Regnant. In some languages it means Rain. I do not really know what a poem is supposed to be like. And I can never quite get enjoyment out of reading, unless it's been written like "The Raven" by Poe, "To Time" by Byron, or similar. A paragraph through, any book, and I'm already waiting for the author to wrap up the scene, for it to make sense. Most of what I've written has a sense of rhythm in it, as if intended to be used in songs. If I dumped it all on the internet for the public to read most people would probably assume I was insane.
