I have this thing where I can't really think things through unless I write about them, and this piece looks a lot like that. Meaning, critiquing it is useless, unnecessary and dishonest. So lovely lovely.

PS I guess one tiny thing... I live in Africa and if you say Africa's holy hero I think of Mohammed, not Jesus. ;p
"where I can't really think things through unless I write about them". Exactly. ,-)

your last point is correct. I am still pondering how to make it clear I am talking 4th century AD Northern Africa. I consider making this un-"lamby" Jesus a Donatist hero. But then I must somehow define the donatists, so the plot will grow fatter again, (It never ends, ,-)
Are you familiar with the author of "a supposedly fun thing I ll never do again"? ;-)

I love how Foster Wallace just crams up every page with his foot notes. I mean: Infinite Jest is even worse (better): indeed he must have had infinite jest with the one billion foot notes in this monster novel.

but back to my text here: Billy is absolutely right. I must reformate /restructure this text.
(even the author got permanently lost in his self-created text mess during the last three days).

Thank you for your interest in this text and your comment.

When I feel I have happened on your unsurpassed writing, you out-do even yourself. This timely dark and deep and passionate write is thrilling, heartbreaking and totally captivating. Bravo, love.
You have gifted us a jewel, ever so enlightening and disturbing to some deep-seated convictions.

The spread out wide arms of Jesus not being
nailed to the wood of the cross but
there is no cross:
Just a maybe fine man
inviting us all with a gesture
that does not need words to tell.

Beautifully inspirational.

Always glad to please. ,-)
