The girl is simply meant to represent a sort of archetype, not the daughter of a slave trader, per se, but that would be included by default. The harvest is not stained, the HEARTH is stained with blood...the father "harvests" sustenance by hunting, killing. Again, all meant to be archetypal and primal.
