we expect teachers to take care of our kids in school. to be able to tell us where they are and if possible what they've been doing.
a device that monitors their whereabouts with in the school and only during school hours would be preferable to me knowing what i know that goes re truancy. for me it's nothing like viewing some one in the privacy of their own home via a web cam. if i could i'd bring back corporal punishment in schools. but i guess that for another thread
also think of this.
if you take your child to school in the uk and he slips out after you left him there and he does it regularly. it's you the parent whose liable and not the school. you can end up with a big fine and a criminal record simply because the school can't really check up that he's still within the grounds. at least with a monitor the school can ring you and say.
hey you twat, your kid just skipped school again.
