in the uk they were called bob a jobs because they charge a shilling, or expected a shilling for doing odd jobs, a shilling is also called a bob. they do have scouts in the usa but they call them eagle scouts or some shit like that. even in the usa scouts are widely abused by the scoutmasters. there was something on the news about it.
