'Classy' women are just better actors than those other 'loud-mouthed' broads. :p
Seriously, I am old school on a lot of things and I must admit I prefer my partner to be classy in the sense that she knows how to conduct herself in public without doing things to embarrass herself (or me.) I think the same thing goes for me, if I go out in public and look like a fool then it reflects on her and no one wants to feel uncomfortable constantly because of their other half.
I think sometimes people just mean to say that a woman is mature, smart and confident. Also men sometimes call women classy as a way of saying 'I will never be able to have sex with her, but I would if I could.'
