No, I don't know.

When my face is old and worn, will you stay around to kiss the wrinkles on my cheeks?

I am awakened with the fear of hatred blackening my bones.

Silence deafens.
strangles the brain,
cinches my eardrums together in four tight knots--
dies with a sigh.

I watch her parade instability.
I tell her to shut up but
she won't quit until pain numbs her,
after it seizes her limbs and uses them for bait.

That girl keeps quiet once asked
doesn't answer to help offered
knows her fix--
a quiet death, gift-wrapped in love and green linoleum.
I'll be there in a minute.
