Have you ever sent poems to your crush?

I'm not fond of writing love poems, I think to pull off a well-written love poem takes talent. I have attempted it and gave it to an ex boyfriend, he threw it away and I broke up with him.

I know, I was livid. It just told me his true feelings, so I'm glad it ended and it wasn't years later married with two kids then finding out.
I believe when someone writes you a poem that is from the heart then it should be cherished, as corny as that sounds.

Yes, but spilling your heart is always risky. I was just instantly moved by your above comment. When I write love poetry these days I write them in a way that they can be also read (and of course hopefully liked ;-) ) not only by my lover.
