this isn't a thread about basking child molesters etc.
the question is this. should all households with kids be told about the whereabouts of all the child sex offenders in their area.
personally i think they should be told but with this proviso.
i think the age of the offender when the offense happened and the age of the victim when the offense happened should also be supplied.
if a 17 year old boy and a 15 year old girl, or vice verse. had sex it could show them to be child molesters, which isn't fair. they are of no harm to the community as such. some kind of explanation of the crime should be given or at least a rating system. (don't turn this into a hate pedo thread or attack thread)
