Love this clever piece, it makes me see the watery sun comming up over snow covered mountains and feel so full of joy, I could burst

I saw your Replies 0 poem--. Good one--and thanks for the laugh. Maybe you should write a cliché poem too? It's not like there's a shortage of clichés...

@Billy--the poem wasn't meant to be a comprehensive compilation of clichés lol.

I think I found a solution for the first stanza. At least one I like better than the ones I thought of last night (it was too late).

So
you don’t like my cliché
What’s wrong with it?
It’s mine
And any idea
no matter how rough
is a diamond in my soul

I'm still not satisfied, but I have faith that some day I will find the right solution there
