Thanks Billy for suggestions, revised edition is below, i feel 'questioning' is significant to the poem so will keep it, but have removed the full stop, to let it flow on to the next line.
I think therefore I am
I sat out of mind, thinking
I am, I think, who am I?
Next to the fire embers burning,
Burning
In the biting cold of November.
Out of my mind, questioning
Nobody, but my self,
Thinking I am, I think, who am I?
I think I am this,
But they think I am that
What am I?
I am he, who does not know,
I am thinking,
I think therefore nothing is certain
Not even this,
Can ever be certain.
I think therefore I am
I sat out of mind, thinking
I am, I think, who am I?
Next to the fire embers burning,
Burning
In the biting cold of November.
Out of my mind, questioning
Nobody, but my self,
Thinking I am, I think, who am I?
I think I am this,
But they think I am that
What am I?
I am he, who does not know,
I am thinking,
I think therefore nothing is certain
Not even this,
Can ever be certain.
