Jeremiad

My favourite poem. It will mean little to those unfamiliar with UK "pop culture", perhaps, and not that much to those who are, but I love it.

I used to think I
was my own worst enemy
and so did many
of my friends.

But I wanted to be sure

so I kept a diary:
a record of names and faces ,
fluctuations in pulse,
blood pressure,
respiration,
frequency of swearing
and kicking the cat. love the last two lines, they feel psychotic

You get the picture.

Turns out I was wrong.
My worst enemy
is Jeremy Kyle. kyle is a wanker indeed
I only made 4th place.
I grabbed 3rd
on the death
of Jeremy Beadle
but I’d have to do something
really stupid
to overtake
Jeremy Clarkson.

i have to go through watching kyle every time i go home to the uk, he's a twat of the highest order. beadle is on par with him. clarkson while a moron can be funny at times and he does drop some great clangers

i enjoyed the read and remembering how much someone can hate a non happening
