How hard can it be
to write poetry?
To make lines that rhyme
takes a little more time
than to not.

Why write a long line
when a short one is fine?
Length matters they say
but not in the way
It sounds.

My syntax can be
used reversibly,
It’s a valid construct
without which I’m…
unhappy.
