Wow, this is pretty deep.
I think there's a point to life, in the sense that we (mankind) decided there was. All our art, literature, music, culture, scientific discoveries, are all pretty much of benefit to only to ourselves, once placed against the greater scheme of the universe. We think there's a point, so that kind of becomes the point
