when is a cigar not a cigar
does poetry have to be universal? from what i see we all see the poem differently okay we may see the same general things but we all take something different. for instance geoff, i saw enjambment probs on your match poem and everyone else didn't
i don't feel bad, i went bad and had another look and it's still the same....and it isn't about the right or wrong
of me or them, it's about perception. a good metaphor can have many levels. the same goes for learning, we normally learn by our mistakes but in poetry, while they're are lots of mistakes there's also lots of leeway. ogten it will be the majority that have the I's but it doesn't affect how we see, and that's something i've learnt, "we see it" and it's beautiful.
