I have no idea what the big deal is about nudity. I'm not keen on seeing people walk down the street with bits flapping in the wind, but mostly that's a safety issue 
Nudity, like "bad language", is not in itself the problem -- it's all about intent. Madonna flashing a nipple deliberately, for example, is offensive because she's old and slutty and intended to offend -- but boobs out breastfeeding, for example, seems to cause an uproar that has no place in civilised society.
