this is getting to be a common thing for me but no line by. the extra lines in a couple of the couplets work well, it's a really good mirror of the poem mentioned (big thanks for recognising the original) it's a good homage that shows some of the differences between the sexes. we beg they don't care . i like the way you did the end, i think for men, loving is never enough....maybe for women as well.
