In order to promote the site, we placed social bookmarking icons at the top of each thread; what are your views on having them on the site?

I confess, I don't use things like that simply because I've tried to erase myself from as many social media outlets as possible -- however, not everyone is as electronically misanthropic as I am, and I quite like the idea of linking all over the place. I'm not sure what icons you mean, though (this may be because I've just got no idea what I'm looking at on the internet most of the time...)

That's actually a "keep them" vote, if you couldn't tell...

thanks for the reply leanne. addy took them down (i did ask her too, shortly before asking her to leave them while i do a poll) she has put them back up.
would they be better at the bottom of the thread or top do you thinik

At the bottom, I think, and maybe not so big if it's possible -- it wouldn't do to have people think they HAVE to use them, just give them the option if they want to.

i'll see what we can do with the size, i prefer them at the bottom of a page as well myself.
i've created a face book account which i'll throw in the links section tomorrow. after i ban the person who's going to leave spam in a moment or two

me and addy will be working on the site after dinner (two mins) and while she's sorting the icons out, i'll do a few edits (at last)
