What name does one give the sacred moment
when lovers explode inside one another,
and all the inanimate brown earth sings,
the windowpanes crack with the transparent force
conceived in the grunts two beings exchange,
and the movements relate what a sonnet never could,
the terrible crippling vulnerability. Love in all its ugliness.

love the 3rd line, 5th and 7th.
for me Love in all its ugly could have had its own line.
can't see anything i'd fault in it. a really good write. it has a gritty passion that works well.

Wow, i love this one. I love how you emphasized the inanimateness of the earth at the same time it sings... it strips it of the usual romance and injects something else in; love as a force of nature, and not necessarily an impressive one. Fantastically put.
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

Thanks for your kind words Addy. I was compelled to write this after hearing an Anne Sexton tape on the reference board here. Her voice and her work always compel me to bash at the keyboard like a horny gibbon
