What are your opinions on this?

No women in a brothel sounds like a damn good brothel to meBlush

I don't care about footie traditions, I'm just pissed off that some moneyed, jumped-up tosspot is imposing his views on other people. How is this any less reprehensible than the church interfering with the state, or other forms of repression? No matter what scale it's on, it's wrong.

Green doesn't equal vegan... I have a green shirt, but I still dine at McDonald's... I also like a walk in the forest with my grandmother now and again, but we still have ham sandwiches for lunch before setting off...

some reason they like to make people do what they do. in this case eat no meat.

Sounds stupid.

And pardon me, the guy looks like a tosser. And he's an idiot, cos he will lose out on business Dodgy.

he's being clever, slimming the fans down so more people fit into the stadium

Now there's real thinking outside the box. Big Grin

But still this guy lacks basic understanding. Just because he refuses to sell meat inside the stadium, that does not change the fact that the fans want meat and not a "lentil burger".

They'll just go somewhere else to get it. And he'll look twattish.

I think I read on BBC News that he banned it initially with the players as red meat is "bad" for you so his logic went that if it wasn't good enough for the players then its not good enough for the rest of the world,, I actually thought that meat was an essential ingredient of a health lifestyle and particularly in young people the meat gives essential proteins?????

A healthy diet does not necessarily mean a vegetarian diet. Forcing your food habits on someone else is at most, inhumane. You should be allowed to eat whatever you want to.
