Formula movies. Handsome, deep voiced, hot headed Hero + stern Father Figure + sexy, sassy Love Interest + snarling, shallow, incurably evil Villain + extended Action Scenes + Happy Ending = another shit, conveyer belt film churned out by a sweatshop of movie makers.
Admittedly we've been seeing these since the dawn of Hollywood, but whereas before some thought was put in to making the movies at least cohesive, with a few human traits the audience can grasp, now they've been stripped to their bare elements, so the formula above is pretty much ALL some productions consist of.
It reminds me of a scene from Mrs. McGinty's Dead by Agatha Christie, where Mrs. Ariadne Oliver, a detective novelist, is discussing a stage adaptation of one of her books with a theater producer, who wants to turn her effete and ageing, superior sleuth into a virile, Errol Flynn-like adventurer with a love interest. When Mrs. Oliver tells him that she doubts her sleuth really cares for women, he says something like: "But darling, he simply can't be a pansy!"

Haha oh god why is this true????

Hate how shallow/braindead/prejudiced/nasty/despicable human beings are populating the public consciousness and being lauded as pseudo-celebrities. Thanks, reality TV!

PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

Oh lord, those shopkeepers.Angry I've been to stores where the shop attendants move like snails, and when you come up to the counter they'll blatantly ignore you while chatting and laughing over the phone (yeah they definitely know you're waiting because you're standing two feet away)

i hate them almost as much as taxi drivers and bus drivers.

i hate people who take their job too seriously, when somewhere should be open at say 10am you're standing there at 1010am and they can see you through the glass and the look at their effin watch and turn around or worse yet, ask you what you want. AngryAngryAngry

Sandwich rules violations. Example, I made lasagna and garlic bread for my husband. He takes the lasagna and shoves it between two pieces of garlic bread and eats it like a sandwich. That's a sin.

The Sandwich has a platonic form. Not this shit. Or this shit. May the Lord strike you down for this shit.

AND, he puts one piece of pizza upside down on another so that he can eat his pizza like a sandwich.

Pizza sandwich is solid, also, taking the bottom half of a cupcake off and putting it in top for a sandwich

Garlic bread lasagna sandwiches cannot be a sin. If you cram your Caesar salad in there too, you're a king.

If you separate a cupcake and put something in between the top and the bottom, that's fair as long as it fits with the idea of the cupcake. You could put frosting in the middle or sliced fruit. If you put the bottom on top of the top.....so help me, Crundle.  Angry

I wouldn't be able to watch you eat it, I'd have to leave the room.

He would like that idea.  Hysterical I would have to have multiple glasses of wine before I could watch that train wreck happen.

To be fair, I've shared this lasagna story with multiple people, and no one to date has agreed with me. I'm used to the hate.

My worst sandwich experience is, without a doubt, this unmanageable, drippy mess. They are supposed to put a lot of the cooking liquids left from the roasting of the beef onto the bread, and it drips all down the sides of your arms and into your sleeves. I expect a little bit of messiness from hard shell tacos, but this is an abomination.

It started in Chicago, and then spread like the blob. Run, don't walk, from the jus.
