Good morning Pig Pen, April is here (in some parts of the world) and the NaPM celebration has started. Don't worry about precise days/times, we live all around the world. Just write any type of poem loosely inspired by the topic of the day and post it on the thread. It's not a competition, cake for everyone.

It is a great month to be a lover of poetry!!

(or just a lover in general  )

It's still April 1 somewhere (here too), don't feel like you've missed out, post your NaPM poem. And if you jump in on a later date, that's fine too.

So I stumbled on this thread:

Interpretation…is it valid critique?

I got a refreshed view of what makes a useful critique and I think the first two pages would make interesting reading for members starting to critique. You can stop there unless you enjoy, as I do, arguments discussions on "subjective", "art", "cliche" and where twerk fits into language.

If you want to steal some poet jokes they're on page three.
I also enjoyed admin's mild and fruitless efforts to steer the thread back on track.

But I was glad to make it to the end for this snippet from Leanne (the post she's responding to is on the bottom of page seven)

I, too, suggest that you read and dwell upon the various arguments offered in this and several other threads. Incidentally, we are not anonymous. We have names, personalities, interactions and relationships that are absolutely as real as those in our physical domains -- the fact that we do not meet in a coffee house has no bearing on the relevance of our existence or our work here.

lol, I've been through it a few times, deleting PMs repeated in replies, it doesn't help that we answer a mishmash willy nilly lol. Or that I'm sentimental. It hits 93 and I get it to 87. When April is over I can delete a ton of unopened Celebrate pms.
Anyone try the download button? I tried once, they disappeared but I couldn't find them anywhere. That may be my device, don't know.
