Our Glass
Mindwandering in court,
Enki (kaleidoscopic biome-digesting) offers
Bored a cup of water,
nonscented, paper flowers.
Honeymoons.
Divorce.
Grandfunerals.
Daydreaming in class,
Cool Kid passes a note,

So I stumbled on this thread:
Interpretation…is it valid critique?
I got a refreshed view of what makes a useful critique and I think the first two pages would make interesting reading for members starting to critique. You can stop there unless you enjoy, as I do, arguments discussions on "subjective", "art", "cliche" and where twerk fits into language.
If you want to steal some poet jokes they're on page three.
I also enjoyed admin's mild and fruitless efforts to steer the thread back on track.
But I was glad to make it to the end for this snippet from Leanne (the post she's responding to is on the bottom of page seven)
Quote:I, too, suggest that you read and dwell upon the various arguments offered in this and several other threads. Incidentally, we are not anonymous. We have names, personalities, interactions and relationships that are absolutely as real as those in our physical domains -- the fact that we do not meet in a coffee house has no bearing on the relevance of our existence or our work here.
Oh, and rowens, I really enjoyed

Just another reminder about the Pig Pen private messaging system. In the user CP, under User Profile, Edit Options you'll find this:
Alert me with a notice when I receive a Private Message.
This is not an off-site notification, if you check it it's just a banner here so when you log in you'll know you have a message.

lol, I've been through it a few times, deleting PMs repeated in replies, it doesn't help that we answer a mishmash willy nilly lol. Or that I'm sentimental. It hits 93 and I get it to 87. When April is over I can delete a ton of unopened Celebrate pms.
Anyone try the download button? I tried once, they disappeared but I couldn't find them anywhere. That may be my device, don't know.

I would like to lodge a formal complaint to management - if I could find them . . .

Nope, maybe it's set up this way on purpose:
"You arses have so much to say start a thread somewhere, I gave you enough choices on where to put the worthless things, what you whispering about anyway, you fuckers"?

lol - I was going to look up his actual response but there's no point now - this was pretty much it.

The member's list looks like we were given out as a boy's school assignment. Who's been doing what?

If you look at the first post it kind of explains it but this is a spot for just idle chatter among members
Anything that strikes your fancy whether about the site or not - maybe just something you have going on, maybe a little bit about yourself or your day or someone that annoyed you.
Poetry does not exist in a vacuum and neither do poets

I am the dark and kind
Of folklore, no dragon
Pockets are scary
Hair or keys, but I don't get used
tell me if/when you want a hint
