A lune to eight lanes

A lune to eight lanes

day to day living
in rush hours
breathing exhaustion

driving tire to tired
I've wondered
what thoughts they're lost in

through snarling traffic
steel driven
they do what they must

ashes to ashes
they press on
from metal to rust

Love this poem. Very relatable and universal it reminds me of when I was a delivery driver, but it could relate to any commuter. Well done!!

I love this. I love poems that refer to the random little mundane aspects of life. Your little thoughtful poems like this are some of my favorites.
