The choice is mine

The choice is mine
If I want to continue to be a
Christian
The choice is mine
If I want to keep having
The friends I have
The choice is mine
If I will continue to pray
For my Father
The choice is mine
If I going to continue to
To take care of my health
Every single day
The choice is mine
What time I going to bed every
Night

I know it's not in the critique forum, just a couple of thoughts...

Who is denying you the choice? Without any counterpoint in which the reader can contrast and reason then this seems to be a series of statements that no one could disagree with. The first statement about being a Christian seems to be where the poem is at (perhaps I'm wrong).

Even a title change could alter the whole poem's perspective.

Cheers for the read
