well i don't know if i'll see the next summer storm
or girls drunkenly waving down yellow cabs near frick
oddfellows is closed, the writing room too
olivia these medallions are so expensive
you'll be ok, you'll get on alright i know you
back then she wore toe rings
did you know Eleonora's falcons kill their neighbors' babies?
and there's another type called a lesser kestrel
no. no i didn't
did you miss me?
I'll be there in a minute.

Things just keep getting better for me. But I prefer the days when me and Serge G. and Bunx and you were making all our HIGH posts day on day, hour after hour.
And to the poem. If you want an answer to its last line, find and read Bunx's poem on here, Altar, then highlight my whole response to it.

this poems hit me hard, it is so matter of fact yet captures a feeling that is so far gone in our lives today.
@rowens thinking about those days and re-reading some old poems, I just feel lucky I found this site when I did. It has given me ownership of how I comprehend myself and the world around me.
Thanks again for ya'lls feedback hope your well out there

The poem hints at some of the underlying and fundamental problems of this ridiculous civilization. The public forum for expression and synthesis (where REAL MONEY comes from) has been worn down by overly paranoid and hyper-critical neighbors who prosecute each other for their ancient sins. They're brain-dead zombies out here. They can't think for themselves. The public consciousness is only focused on "doing the right thing" based on what covers or protects sinning. Who gives a damn about the young and the innocent.? The people out here are beyond ridiculous. It's a damn holocaust waiting to unfold. The people are illiterate, stupid, trite, bitter, small-minded. They have never learned to commend or honor the work of poets or thinkers. Their full of vain-glory and idiocy. All false idols and false memories, false constructs.

the first time I read through there was a dystopian feel of the falcon's killing Elenora's neighbors babies.
and them, caught in the cycle just making more.
is there anything as enjoyable as ennui?
