nonsense in Abstract/Sound form
The Shebang
A gang of orangutans
Hanged in the shebang
From the overhang they banged, clanged, and panged
And sang in slang.

hello Torkelburger,
nice sonics in this ditty of course, although some of the word-choices come across as rather arbitrary.
the shebang - their shebang ?
panged - rang or swang ?
And sang in orangutan slang - to make it more immediate ?
cheers............P

Hi TB,
you say abstract, but ... you could read this as a group of orangutans were lynched for rowdy behaviour
(hanged doesn't offer much leeway in interpretation). Also, perhaps 'Buffoonery' for the title?
A shebang of orangutans
clanging from the overhang
...

Thanks, Knot! Yeah, I think it was John Lennon who said something along the lines of how he sort of throws words together subconsciously and they usually find a meaning by the listener. Something like that, I believe.
