i know of a guy called dred stott (i think) in the 1800's who went to court to get his freedom but was more or less told to get lost because africans weren't allowed to sue (even if they were free) because thy weren't citizens.

so it definitely wasn't him. Angry

It is Dred Scott. But I never said if he got freedom. I just said he "claimed" it Tongue. He went to the Supreme Court, quite an interesting story. Wink
