My house-ecology includes
a number of small lizards,
knob-toed, window-
and wall-climbers,
ceiling-clingers,
roach-consumers,
mustard-yellow with
brown stripes which match
my wallpaper. Good camouflage,
though I cannot explain
their minor tribe that’s pink
nor mornings I awake
with tiny love-bites.

Enjoying this. Mostly the love bites. For me. "house-ecology" is too dry for the environment. Would prefer something homey like...
My little family includes
or Our home includes
--- I know it's in "fun" and not specific suggestions. More for continuity of feel...I want to be cozy enough for love bites from the get go, if that makes sense. Also, in L8, I think "to match" might be stronger than "which match" both for immediacy and enjambment .
