Yep- I was up in the pre-dawn glow of Virginia USA, only to be (mildly) disappointed when the clouds obscured the blood moon. Still I got some great views of the moon's super blueness.  I did see the live feed from the Griffith Observatory in LA LA Land, and that was like cool, dude (and reddish, too).

Of course, if it creeps up behind you, sneaking by the window, then you miss it.  I spend way too much time paying attention to these kind of events, but hey, it is my time.  

Clouds, baby, baby-- the nemesis of celestial viewing...
