maybe now they can get some plans together like diversion to other airports and laying in extra trains etc,couldn't be that difficult with the availability of wind directions et al

the airlines could pay the extra costs,i think a trainticket to anywhere in europe will be cheaper than put up people in expensive hotels when flights get cancelled

i think they took the right decisions when they stopped flying after i saw the footage in the docu about the plane that flew through that ashplume over indonesia,scary,can't take any risk

same here. i think lives are much more important than profits.
i saw a pic of an airforce plane (can't remember where )and the inside of the jet was encrusted with glass. they said if it hadn't of landed when it did, it would have have fell out of the sky.
