Ok, does anyone have any experience in making animated gif's with photoshop? Any help would be great.

I never knew PS could do .gifs...

I made very basic ones using other software, but not a pro .

Ya Dan thanks for chimin in. Aparently you can make animated avitars with CS4 and i was just wondering if anyone knew how to go about it.

what is it you're after. there's a lot of free clip art gifs out there.

Well I was thinking about making my own avitar, animated, and plus it would be good to know how to animate things for animated sigs as well.
I'm a member at darkside and have been for a long while. Some of the sigs are just something else. Be great if we had something like that here and someone to supply them to anyone that wanted. Just thinking about makeing the site a more interisting place to be, visually.

this one uses image ready which comes with photoshop. if you don't have adobe image ready in your cs4 you can find one somehwere else i suppose :p

I have Adobe CS4 Master suite so it must be called something else. Any idea?

imageready should be part of photoshop benny Click the Jump to ImageReady bar at the bottom of your Toolbox it's a box with an arrow pointing to the right i think.
it's ages since i used it it (i deleted ps cos i never had time for it)
anyway once in imageready follow the tut and get a feel for it.

Ok, cool bill, i'll give it a go. Maybe i can figure it out on my own. There is so much in photoshop it's hard to know where to start.

Wondering where he is when you need him,lol. He joined but haven't seen him around in a wile. I don't post at PU anymore. Was not really to my likeing. To be honest with you i don't trust them there. Thats just my experience there and i would hate to put down the site simply because of my experience with them. I am sure they are good for something. Won't be a hippo and steal a tut there though.
