i always wonder - was tarter sauce named after hell or was hell named after tarter sauce.

The stuff is disgusting so i can imagine it either way.

I snorted at least twice on the original poem, but I don't understand why.

It is pure tautology that steak tartare with tartar sauce is a tasty treat.
