PS I did put her pen in hand so I'm assuming she's writing something brilliant at the time. For writing, she employs a scribe; that pen is for poking holes in her Mintie wrappers.

oh, that is good. personality impressionism, I likes it. I didn't notice the pen, that is why sometimes the subtlties of art can be missed on a screen. But that is a great little detail.
Plus, I have seen a photo of Leanne, and she is pretty much a fox [insert Garth's Foxy Lady dance here].

while they're all good i really like the earthy coloured canvass of the last one, it feels inviting and also at the same time, threatening. the first scares the shit out of me. fear, repression and a whole gamut of negativity. the 2nd to me is just rodin's thinker doing some perving while on the toilet. good luck with the show

I like the second one the most, but they're all really striking. I hope you have a good show.

I hadn't noticed the hand down there on the 2nd one. I'm not sure what your supposed to do with painting, but the disjointed limbs may require you to assimilate the image, perhaps. The last one seems to border on sexuality or something. That would be my guess anyhow. Also x-rays maybe. I guess they all draw attention to the crotch.

^^^ I like it. It sort of has the look of a sand castle that has had its first mild encounter with the tide. Or a fancy birthday cake melting in the summer heat. Really fun to look at.

Go, Gramps. Give him a hug for me and tell him I think he has a future in the arts.

I can't insert. Dale tried to help but to no avail. How lucky does that make you all.

Ah, I see what you mean.
Sorry about your insertion problems, maybe the change of scenery will help.

its neat looking at peoples art after reading their poetry. You can see a lot of crossover in certain sensibilities. Shemthepenman's paintings look very creepy, and the mark making in Bena's work looks really expressive and fun. I have been painting a lot lately, but I don't have a working camera atm or i'd post some of it. Here is a close up of the painting I used for my avatar. It is actually really small, maybe six inches in the largest dimension.
