Which internet browser do you use? And why?

I use Firefox 3.6.3. Lots of add-ons, and I don't think the themes look bad at all. Blush

Yes, I find it very easy to use. It does everything I need it too. I see no reason not to use it. If I google then IE gets me to google and I google. Same with everything else. Dono what the deal is with people that have problems with it...it works great for me. Confused

Google Chrome for Linux, very fast, when JavaScript ruins an page, you can just shift-esc and kill the page. Chrome has many plugins becoming available too, including one for blocking ads and changing the themes. Plus it tll me the new EMails. Chrome also offers a good Debugger for JavaScript and HTML. Add, the addons and theme changes don't require browser restarts. I rate Chrome right above FireFox.

I used to think IE was okay. But everyone was talking about Firefox so I decided to try it out. The superiority is very noticeable. The add-ons are made by a reliable community, and the new personas on the latest edition cheer up my browser a bitSmile.

I never really had problems with IE at all. Just like any other browser when it comes to surfing the web. But the Ad-Block Plus script is a big advantage in FF. jmo....

Well I don't really get them aside from redirects at TPB. If I run PG2 I don't get those either. I dono, some people like other browsers but I myself don't really see any real need to change to another one. That could change at some point in the future.

I use IE8 browser. It caught 85% of the live threats.IE8 perform very well at protecting users from socially-engineered malware. Each browsers use a cloud based reputation system that helps in determining if a URL contains malware, and in the case of IE8, it uses Microsoft’s SmartScreen reputation system which is using huge database in the sky about Internet based abuse. It works fast and I am very comfortable with IE8.

These days I trust Microsoft software less and less, albeit Windows 7 is a more than capable OS imo.

Opera is also a very good browser. Available for Linux-Based OS Too. But Chrome for Linux is still my Favorite.
