time travel.

Disagree. Computers and brains both process information, but I think that's a superficial similarity.

Of course Augustine expressed it in a religious way, but the basic idea is the same.

Well according to everything that I have seen and read the human brain is indeed a biological computer and at present they are building them.
Primitive in comparison to our own but building them none the less.

Cool. But the brain came first, so a computer mimics functions of the brain. To say that the brain is a computer seems to suggest we can treat it like a piece of machinery.

We create a brain yes...someone created ours yes....is it a machine?
I think that is the key to what we really are. If you read my previous posts you may see why I think this.
I believe we are a vehicle for intelligence.

I don't think we've created a brain, and I don't think anyone has created ours. But I'm open to the idea. What posts of yours should I read?

Ok then....You believe that no being or race of beings created anything at all. Everything just is and evolves through so called time then?

I've killed the thread. [Image: cray.gif]
each verse in the multi-verse is in a different time frame. so each floor is a different period. other than that i haven't a clue cos i'm not a physicist :pirate:

Not a physicist nor a very good travel agent.

I didn't say it like that. My beliefs don't include anyone creating brains. Evolution is a convenient theory, but I'm not a rabid supporter of it. I don't really need a theory to explain anything. Here it is. Good enough for me. Big Grin

that,s what i believe. though intelligent beings could evolve enough to create a life form i suppose. i don't think that happened to us though, wheres the proof. if we're so self aware as machines why don't we have an interface? where are they? and the topic is sliding. sorry.

unless yu mean create a time machine? if so i think it will happen, may have happened on a different plane of the multi verse.

Actually I really do not believe time travel will ever be possible by us...humans I mean....because it's not what we were designed for. Allowing us the knowledge to do this or even the smarts to comprehend it would render this experience mute. Makes for great sci-fi tho....[Image: lmaofz.gif]

it's definitely all conjecture and making it plausible enough to believe at this time i'll admit
but i do think one day we will do it.
