White Darkness

On the cloudiest of days
Its not the rain, thunder, or lighting
That you should fear
Instead be afraid of the clouds falling

Engulfed in the white darkness
You would think you’re in heaven
Trembling bones, and sweaty palms
Tells you different

Words spoken wander into an empty abyss
Echoing endlessly without sound
Not because no one hears
But because no one is willing to listen.

I'm afraid I don't get it. Are the clouds essentially, Hell?
If the clouds fell and surrounded me, I would think it would be like a misty , foggy, whiteout. I could see "trembling bones" because it would seem cold in the fog. But "Engulfed" makes me think of heat or flames. "Sweaty palms" are we feeling nervous, that we aren't in Heaven?

The words that are spoken wander into an empty abyss, but the abyss, or hell isn't empty. there's people you can see, but nobody cares.

this poem definitely has me jumbled up. I also feel like it was just the beginning. Where's the rest? You told me about the clouds and how I feel. What about it?

To me it seems like you have put a lot of thought into this poem, but I don't really understand why the things that happen, happen, or what the 'message' really is. To me it seems more like half a poem, I would need some more descriptions to get drawn into it, and really feel the fear, darkness etc. and the impact is has on the 'you'. Sorry I can't be of better help right now.

i get what your talking, theres actually 2 parts to this, but i didnt feel comfortable posting the first part because it wasn't well written. but i fixed it today.
