Her name is Ansuya. Might sound weird to a lot of you but that's cuz I'm Indian. Anyway...Wanted to test the waters and see if it was worth giving...
And don't mind the Eleanor part...i decided to write my poems with Eleanor in it...kinda like a muse
For Her, whom this rhyme is penned,
An Angel from the heavens sent,
The stars, less bright, than whose eyes do shine,
Shall find her name within this rhyme,
And last immortal as I remember,
beautiful, eternal, and forever,
Within my heart, and within these lines,
Forevermore, my Eleanor,
Until the end of time.
-------------------❃-------------------
An Angel, Gabriel, said to me,
Now listen well, my son,
See, I speak with the voice of God,
Understand, and His will be done,
Younder down this road you chose,
A lonely road from the start,
A chance to ease your pain,
Now waits, to soothe your aching heart,
So I traversed, until I arrived,
Upon a courtyard of stone,
"Young Traveller," a voice called out,
"Are you travelling alone?"
And although startled, I replied,
"Nay Father, I am not,
She's always here within my heart,
Until my Doom, rips us apart,"
"Young Man," said he, "Its clear to see,
A lonely fool, you are."
"Ask for riches, they shall be yours,
Now ask for knowledge and forgotten lore,
So ask, and ask, I'll grant you more, but,
Understand, I cannot grant, true love of,
Your Eleanor, whom you adore,
And whom you lost so long ago."
"And what use," said I, "Would riches be?
New lore won't bury her memory,
So your boons, they won't help me,
Unless there is a chance to meet,
Young Eleanor, an angel pure,
And whom I lost so long ago."
And so I turned and walked away,
Never gave a backward glance,
See I have not a single desire,
Unless there is a chance,
Young Eleanor, whom I adore, to love you once again,
And to feel your kiss upon my lips, like once I did back then
And don't mind the Eleanor part...i decided to write my poems with Eleanor in it...kinda like a muse
