Well according to everything that I have seen and read the human brain is indeed a biological computer and at present they are building them.
Primitive in comparison to our own but building them none the less.

Cool. But the brain came first, so a computer mimics functions of the brain. To say that the brain is a computer seems to suggest we can treat it like a piece of machinery.

I think that is the key to what we really are. If you read my previous posts you may see why I think this.

I didn't say it like that. My beliefs don't include anyone creating brains. Evolution is a convenient theory, but I'm not a rabid supporter of it. I don't really need a theory to explain anything. Here it is. Good enough for me.

that,s what i believe. though intelligent beings could evolve enough to create a life form i suppose. i don't think that happened to us though, wheres the proof. if we're so self aware as machines why don't we have an interface? where are they? and the topic is sliding. sorry.

Actually I really do not believe time travel will ever be possible by us...humans I mean....because it's not what we were designed for. Allowing us the knowledge to do this or even the smarts to comprehend it would render this experience mute. Makes for great sci-fi tho....
