Don't confuse the two kinds of old cars.
lmao

i've seen some of the old beetles here in the philippines. some look good and some look like clunkers.
i think it all depends on how well they've been restored.
if they've just had some tyre black and chrome cleaner the odds are it's not a vintage car. if on the other hand its been stripped down and rebuilt with pristine parts and brought up to showroom condition then it's vintage. as to how old. i'm not sure.

My first car was a 1957 ford 2 door station wagon. Red and white 2 tone with matching leather interior. Was fully restored and had a 351C.I.D. fully modified engine with a Hurst 4 speed racing transmission and a 456 posi rear end. Would pull the front wheels off the ground all the way through to 3rd gear. My father gave it to me for x-mass when I was 15 to get me to stop steeling cars.
True story. Cool

sorry dubs.
i'll see if i can find out.

here ya go;

A vintage car is commonly defined as a car built between the start of 1919 and the end of 1930. There is little debate about the start date of the vintage period—the end of World War I is a nicely defined marker there—but the end date is a matter of a little more debate. The British definition is strict about 1930 being the cut-off, while some American sources prefer 1925 since it is the

a classic car is different than a vintage car.
the mark 4 cortina is a classic as is the ford capri.

a vintage car basically has to be an antique or classed as an antique.
in the british isles an antique used to have to be a 100 year old to qualify, now it's 70 years.

Here, antique is 20 years old, classic is a style of it's time that is rare and sought after.
