Kneeling to protest
racial inequality–
how nice, so many
praying for a change
to God, its only Author.

How can He let them know
if uniform equality
were good enough,
there would have been no reason
to define a firmament
or day and night?

Why is he capitalized?

Standard, if somewhat dated practice from the intersection of Christianity with English - words referring directly to God, His Attributes, etc.. are capitalized.  Back in the day, before Linotype, a religious tract could really clean out the right-hand side of a California job case.
