NaPM is here. Big Grin

Our challenge is to write 30 poems in 30 days. All registered members are invited to go to Milo's Forum and post on the prompt-a-day threads.

The threads remain open so if you miss one, or two or three, you can go back and fill them in.

All skill levels are welcomed, it's crit-free and the torture of the writing is rewarded with the great reading.

Jump on in and have fun with it. Smile

Hi Ella, so pleased this is running again. I came back just to read the Napm threads; sill up shit creak with no time to write but reading these threads is balm to my mind.
People if you are feeling jaded and in word lock down, this is the place for you...write a whole heap of crap if this is all you have - it doesn't matter and read a whole load of words, because without fail every year there will be some gems to be found.
Have fun.

When I gave up on quality, all of the tension went out of my wrist, and my pen.
I'm finding crap is easy. Even fun. I love NaPo.

I'm saving The American Sentence and Kerouac Haiku for when the well goes completely dry.

Big Grin Don't worry, somehow nuggets that can be polished later sometimes happen. Congrats to all who've made it to the halfway mark.

This level of self flagellation is probably healthy for my poetic career, enjoying it!

I'm impressed by the quantity and quality of the poems, and the speed at which y'all are writing them. Thumbsup

"   I swear to the gods! If we ain't the best damn group of poets around, then (even better) we've got brains large enough to think so!   "
