while it's easier to for european states to extradite people between themselves. it's a lot harder for say, the usa to extradite someone. the usa would have a much better chance extraditing him from the uk because of the ties we have than extraditing him from the likes of sweden. (who are already pissed at the yanks of the banking fiasco where they had to give certain info away concerning swiss accounts. ) i think the usa would be really happy if assange stayed in the uk for a while longer, they night even be happy if the swiss charges were dropped; the reason being that that it means the swiss have first dibs on his ass.
