Shapes that shunt against the elastic that holds them together--they form an internal network that keeps the outside outside and the inside in.
Though the very existence of all the little creatures together and their collective emergence is enough to justify their importance on this world, only one thing is for certain, the invisible life force that navigates this vessel is in itself a contradiction to the ever-expanding network that is laid before it.
The evidence is empirical; although, intangible: dubious in nature-- the hive mind cannot settle upon any agreement.
Little strands of muscle push themselves across the scape, defying gravity to create their own.
Their mere existence is tortuous and their only hope is to once again reach an equilibrium.
Molecules and atoms oppressed into forced submission will then only end the process so it may start once again.
