is a savings account
if you don't use
you lose.
Another form

to raise
revenue.

Poetically, use of the title as (in effect) first line is economical and effective, as is the inferred "which" after "account."

Otherwise... there are many ways to think about insurance (especially life insurance).  One is that you (the insured) are renting a sum of money - an estate.  Sometimes, it's rent-to-own (at maturity).  Accident insurance (death is, ultimately, not an accident though its particular circumstances may be) is more of a bet... if you know the "accident" will take place, or arrange for it to, the term "fraud" comes to mind.  Hence, also, suicide clauses...

Definitely thought-provoking:  think of the banks which bought and sold mortgage insurance when they thought no one would ever use it... and insurance on the insurance, and insurance on the insurance on the insurance... ... ...
Auto insurance is the bane of my existence. All the I've paid I probably could fix all the cars I've ever driven and bought a new car, and instead of fixing my bumper a year ago, they raised my rates. But, it's the law

Mortgage insurance was the law, too... but the law didn't mind if all the cat boxes were emptied into a few larger cat boxes, and the final tranche of enormous cat boxes contained very little kitty litter but were nevertheless full and sold on as if their contents were still kitty litter.  Law starts out to prevent fraud, and instead (unless carefully watched by those with something to lose) becomes the fraud.  (Condolences on your bumper.)
