Thank you, I find it intriguing that it's possible to have bad eyesight and yet see something that is 14.914 quintillion miles away.

Actually, I once thought I had seen a galaxy through my telescope that turned out to be a spec of dust so you're probably closer with the smudge theory.

wouldn't change a thing but ...would add an dash [-] after doorstep which would make seeing andromeda stand out with a bit of awe.

Cheers Billy. I was thinking about the dash, I never know when to use those damn things, but you are spot on with it.
