GHOSTLY POETRY
#1
DIPPER FLIPPER!?!

I love writing poetry,
it takes me to the stars.
By the end of the page,
I’m in orbit around Mars.

The moons of Jupiter,
fuel for my fire.
My Solar system poetry,
should more than inspire.

The rings of Saturn,
encircle my mind.
As the verses come out,
Peace is the find…

The Galaxies make me wonder,
are we really alone.
Gods mysterious universe,
rings like a phone…

Now when you see a Constellation,
remember as you look above…?
The Dippers are not empty,
they’re overflowing with LOVE!!!

GHOSTWRITER

THE BLUEBIRD!!

Yesterday in the morning,
while writing on my porch.
A blue bird watched intently,
and stood out like a torch.

She preened and plucked her feathers,
and frolicked in her bath,
It was clear and warm in spring,
far from winters wrath.

The swaying of tall grass,
inspired music from the bird.
She watched my pen move,
and helped with every word.

Brightly my soul stirred,
pay attention to my verse.
If we inspire your pen,
it lifts our curse.

The dawn was aging gracefully,
as easy as a dream.
It was sewing up the harmony,
on life’s special seam.

Back to my yard turning,
to meet the birds stare,
Her hypnotizing music,
made everything fair.

Up to my screen door,
and opened it wide.
The bird started to move,
and followed me back inside.

This beautiful blue bird enticing,
flew the extra mile.
Right inside my porch,
to sing with me awhile.

She perched above my chair,
continuing her musical score.
Without even a glance,
as I closed the door.

“Other friends have sung before,”
I made out in her tune.
She was a more precious sight,
than the brightest, fullest moon.

“Nevermore!” I’ll question creation,
and fowl from the air.
This bird and myself are like,
the Tortoise and the Hare…?

With her cousins from the 1800’s,
these birds are now a bunch.
Like Frost, Rice or Poe,
it’s more than a hunch…?

Again the bird echoed a verse,
that was music to my ears.
Like the Crow and Raven,
it took away fears.

“Faith,” I cried, “You’ve won a soul!”
you’re flying past the sun.
I pray you write poetry,
after this is done.

“Messenger,” queried I “Have you traveled far,
to bring us all these words…?”
Like the poets before,
we write about the birds.

Be that our words of parting,
until we meet once more.
You’ve helped my craft of poetry,
and flew my pen ashore.

The birds forever flitting,
not scared of any door..?
The Bluebirds song about nature,
and the Ravens “Nevermore!!”

This poem was written on May ninth at two in the morning on the fourth anniversary of the death of my Mother “Donna Jean Brashko” Blue Jays are her favourite birds and baseball team. My name is James Anthony Brashko also known as a ghostwriter and I have been writing poetry for eighteen years…!!-

FAMILY WISE TIES!?!

Honor your Mother and Father,
they helped bring you onto this land,
They are so important that,
their parents are grand!!

You think you know it all,
while you’re still a teen…
If you ignore your parents,
you’ll never make the scene.

Stop your sibling rivalry don’t
curse your sister or brother!
Your family should all get along,
do it for each other…

The family is the unit,
that makes our country strong!!
Parents teaching children,
right from wrong…

God is the head of families,
He makes them humble and wise.
Don’t put your self ahead of him,
cause he’s the rope of family ties!!!
