But is it art?

A caterpillar on a pedestal
- butterfly or bust?

A coelacanth on a plinth
- fish out of water.

A sloth hanging down
- mislabelled, 'A Tapas Tree'.

Two cans of pop
- you're in the gift shop.

A bottled axolotl
- still in the gallery.

Round where I live the only decoration in restaurants are mounted deer heads and taxidermied animals.

I wouldn't call it art, just something to fill up space.
Like most art is.

Thanks for the read SC.

Any ideas for a less 'provocative' title appreciated Smile

I'm reminded of Andy Warhol's quip: "Art is what you can get away with."  Which is funny, not "provocative", and answers the question you're asking (and also fits with your theme).  A bit long for a title though, but might work.
